Water seeks a level
water is always on its way, if there's anywhere to go -- it's constantly flowing to a level surface, to a resting point, somewhere. Waves and tides and rivers and waterfalls all seek a level. I love this, and just watching water shift and move over itself, align, unfurl and start again is one of the best ways I know to remember myself in the grand scale of the world.
