Sea change (as of something rich and strange) is a line that flits around my longterm memory. It speaks to the ongoing passage of time, as marked out by the perpetual movement of the waves, wearing driftwood and sand, and punctuating passages of my own life. This piece is painted using only palette knife, for a rich, loose feel over a bright neon yellow underpainting.
