of day moments when stars freckle across soft darkness satellites blinking furiously traveling impossibly between lights suddenly, a shooting star, brilliant and gone as the birds wake up, only a few at first pulling up the blue from the sky edges a rhombus of gold falling out the window down the wall music and warmth cascading after onto a dewy blanket |
